Hi, I’m Gracelyn
I'm a wife, a girl mom, and an Alpharetta native. I grew up here, and now I'm raising my own little girl in the same community that raised me.
Most days you'll find me chasing my toddler around the house, lighting a candle, and trying to carve out a little quiet.
How I found the bowls
I lost my dad in 2022 and my mom in 2024. Not long after, I was learning how to be a mother without my mom here to call. I had so much love around me from my husband, my family, and my church community, but the anxiety still kept me up most nights.
So I prayed for stillness. In that season, I started listening to crystal singing bowls before bed, and for the first time in a long time my mind got quiet enough to just be with God. The verse I kept coming back to was this one:
"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
Why I started Grounded with Gracelyn
I created Grounded with Gracelyn to share my story and the peace I've found in sound baths. I wanted a space for people like me: believers who are tired, grieving, stepping into a new season, or simply in need of permission to rest.
I completed sound bath training and led my first community sound bath here in Alpharetta in October 2026. Today I lead faith based sound baths for churches, small groups, women's events, and anyone who needs a quiet hour.
What you can expect from me
I definitely don’t have it all figured out. I’m a mom who found peace by being still before God, and I want to make room for you to find it too. When you come to one of my sound baths, you’ll be welcomed, you’ll be prayed for, and you won’t have to explain a thing. You can just rest.
Whether you’re walking through loss, adjusting to motherhood, or just need to slow down, there’s a place for you here. I pray you leave with a little more of His peace than you came with.
